How does it work?
Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule that is naturally occurring in the human body and is the main material found in a dermal filler injection. The injection works by replacing lost collagen in the skin, giving a boost in skin volume and texture.
These can be used in multiple areas of the face and body and are commonly used to treat forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, laughter lines (nasolabial folds), scarring and more.
They can also be used to contour your cheeks, chin, lips and jawline to give you more volume and shape.
If you know the area you would like treated, we have more in depth descriptions of area-specific dermal filler treatments under the appropriate sections of our website.
What filler product do you use?
We use Restylane & Juvederm fillers. They are gel-based injections and are made from non-animal hyaluronic acid.
How long does it last?
The filler is slowly absorbed naturally by the body over time. The longevity of treatment can vary depending on individual factors like skin type, lifestyle and the area treated. The average duration of our customers has been 9-12 months.
