How does it work?
A chemical solution is applied to the face. The chemicals in the solution work to remove multiple layers of dead cells from the surface of the skin, revealing the healthy new cells underneath.
The first appointment will be a 20% light peel to determine the results. If you require further treatment (deep scarring or acne) the strength of the peel will increase in future treatments.
What can be treated with a glycolic chemical peel?
Glycolic peels can be used to acne, scarring, skin pigmentation, wrinkles and sun-damaged skin.
What strength chemical peel do you use?
We start with a 20% chemical peel in your first appointment. The strength of the peels can be subsequently increased depending on your needs. The chemical peel can be increased up to 70%. For another session we must leave 4-6 weeks between treatment.
What if I need a stronger treatment?
We also offer a strong TCA chemical peel for heavy scarring, melisma, stretch marks, acne and deep wrinkles.
Can I have it done when pregnant?
Unfortunately, pregnant or breastfeeding clients cannot receive this treatment.
Clients must be over the age of 18.
What should I do for after care?
After a chemical peel treatment we advise that you do not put anything on your face other than sun cream SPF 50+
Your face may become red and your skin could peel but this will go away in time.
For lasting results from professional hands, treat yourself to a light chemical peel from our Deansgate or Harley Street branches.
