How does it work?

A chemical solution is applied to the areas affected. The chemicals in the solution work to remove deep layers of dead cells from surface of the skin, revealing the healthy new cells underneath. This encourages collagen growth and leaves your skin looking tighter and more youthful.

Shedding may occur for a few days after treatment and this is normal for the week after a chemical peel. Over the next 4-6 weeks you will notice a dramatic change in your skin’s appearance; it will now look smoother, clearer, younger and healthier.

Who is the treatment suitable for?

The treatment is suitable for people suffering from: deep scarring, acne, melisma, stretch marks, age spots, wrinkles, creases and excessive sun damage.

Can I have it done when pregnant?

Unfortunately, this treatment is not advisable for pregnant or breastfeeding clients.

Clients must be over the age of 18.

What is the strength of the TCA Peel

The TCA is 70% strength.

What if I need a stronger treatment?

For more significant results you may wish to consider ULTRAcel – Triple Layered Therapy. This is the most advanced technology for amazing non-surgical face – lifts and collagen remodelling.

Who carries out the treatment?

The TCA (Trycloratic Acid) deep chemical peel at Neo Derm will be carried out by a registered medical doctor or nurse.

What should I do for after care?

After treatment we advise that you do not put anything on your face other than sun cream SPF 50+
Your face may become red and your skin could peel but this will go in time.
